Indian School Al Buraimi

Indian School Al Buraimi has a rich history that began with its establishment on June 12th, 2010, fulfilling a longstanding aspiration of the Indian community in Buraimi to have a school for their children. This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Indian community members in Buraimi, the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, the Embassy of India in Muscat, and local government authorities.

Initially starting with a modest setup of 4 staff members and 52 students up to class 2, the school has grown steadily over the years, expanding both its infrastructure and student strength.

A significant milestone in the school’s journey was obtaining the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi ) affiliation in the academic year 2017, allowing the school to offer CBSE curriculum and certifications up to Class 10.  CBSE affiliation marked a proud achievement for the entire school community, enhancing academic standards and providing new opportunities for students. The first batch of Class 10 students successfully completed the High School Examination in 2019, further validating the school’s commitment to excellence.

Presently, Indian School Al Buraimi provides quality education to students from KG I to class X. The school is supported by a dedicated team of 26 staff members, including the Principal, all of whom contribute significantly to its growth and success.

Indian School Al Buraimi continues to uphold a tradition of educational excellence and continuous development, dedicated to serving its students with unwavering commitment.   It stands as a testament to the vision and determination of the Indian community in Buraimi.
